A West Virginia police officer has been suspended without pay after throwing a homeless man’s backpack into a river, reports the Charleston Gazette.

The altercation between Patrolman Brian Lightner and Andrew Joel Hunt, 26, was said to have occurred on August 17 at Spring Street Bridge, according to the Charleston Gazette. Officer Lightner was trying to break up an argument between several homeless and may have took it too far.

While Hunt may have confessed that he was under the influence of alcohol and was ultimately arrested for public intoxication and drunk disorderly conduct, Officer Lightner made a questionable move that would come back to haunt him. After his release from prison, Hunt filed a complaint stating that Lightner threw his backpack, which contained a laptop and the only photos he had of his deceased wife, off of the bridge.

Hunt’s lawyer, Brendan Doneghy, told the Charleston Gazette he found it incredibly suspicious that the police department dropped the charges out of nowhere without any explanation.

“I received a dismissal out of nowhere,” Doneghy told the Charleston Gazette, “It made suspicious the allegations (against Lightner) were true.”

The Charleston Police Department and Hunt agreed on an undisclosed settlement after the dive team was able to recover the homeless man’s last personal belongings, though many would argue that the damaged property was invaluable.

Charleston Police Chief Brent Webster told the Charleston Gazette that Lightner has been suspended without pay since September 9. Source following the story say that Lightner was considering resigning to evade destruction of property charges but Webster did not comment on those rumors.

Northern Virginia Technology Council Veterans Employment Initiative Expands Programs to Support Veterans Transitioning to Civilian Careers

Initiative provides tools and resources to educate employers and connect military veterans with employment opportunities in Virginia’s technology community

(PRWEB) November 11, 2014

This Veterans Day, the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the largest technology council in the nation, today announced expanded programs to aid military veterans as they transition to civilian employment opportunities and to support employers in their efforts to recruit, hire, train and retain qualified veteran employees.

Launched in August 2013, the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative offers an online community and job board at http://www.novatechvets.org. The site, hosted by Monster.com, provides tools designed to assist service members’ transition into the civilian workforce including a military skills translator to match their skills to civilian jobs, a searchable database of jobs at NVTC member companies, and educational resources to help them develop skills to thrive in a private sector career. Since the site’s launch, more than 300 companies have had jobs on the website, which currently has more than 8,000 jobs posted. In addition, NVTC members can access a resume database of over 970,000 veterans, use state of the art search tools to find the right potential employee, and navigate other tools to post and manage job openings.

This month, NVTC also will begin the second cohort of its VETWORKING program, which launched earlier this year to connect veteran job seekers to other veterans in the region’s technology sector. Through small group interactions and opportunities to participate in industry events, the program facilitates veterans’ professional skills development, builds their professional networks and empowers them through the support of fellow job seekers or newly-employed colleagues. The pilot of this program has been organized and hosted by the MITRE Corporation. NVTC will be expanding this program further in 2015 with the support of additional member companies.

In addition, NVTC is releasing today the archives of a series of webinars designed to educate human resources professionals, recruiters, hiring managers, CEOs and COOs on best practices in veteran hiring. Past topics include understanding the business case for hiring veterans, interviewing veterans and understanding a veteran resume. Live webinars are hosted monthly for NVTC members. Visit http://www.nvtc.org/events for more information.

Over the past year, NVTC also has hosted three recruiting events in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to match companies with qualified transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses and members of the National Guard and Reserve. Unlike traditional job fairs during which candidates circulate to employer tables, these events allow employers to pre-screen applicants and resumes before speaking with small groups of veterans in a round robin style. Four additional recruiting days are planned for 2015.

The NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative is also working with the region’s colleges and universities to address the skills gap faced by many veterans as they leave military service and to match veteran training and certification to the workforce needs of Virginia’s technology sector. Additionally, NVTC is working to facilitate internships and OJT opportunities within the region’s technology business community. In 2015, the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative is launching a pilot program with its academic institutions to engage 50 student veterans with internships and career opportunities with 50 NVTC industry partners.

“I want to thank the NVTC Veteran Employment Initiative co-chairs Steve Cooker of Monster.com and David Lucien of DCL Associates, as well as all of the volunteers from our member companies, for their commitment to growing the programs and tools of the Initiative,” said NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg. “Through an ecosystem of businesses, academic institutions, support organizations and policymakers, the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative assists both veterans and employers, while also strengthening our regional economy and easing the transition to civilian life for those who have served our country. We encourage any company with a commitment to veterans employment to get involved.”

Earlier this year, NVTC created the NVTC Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) charitable nonprofit, to support the work of the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative. In July 2014, NVTC announced that Northrop Grumman Corporation committed to donating $250,000 over two years as the lead sponsor of the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative to help veterans find jobs in the region’s technology community.

On the heels of a Successful Opening in Charlottesville, Virginia, the Preppy Retailer Opens Its Doors in Lexington, Kentucky, as a Pilot for Future Expansion

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 11, 2014

Country Club Prep, the first and only one-stop e-commerce retailer for preppy apparel, is hosting the grand opening of its second brick-and-mortar store in Lexington, Kentucky, just four months after its first location opened in Charlottesville, Virginia. While the Charlottesville location will remain the flagship store for the brand, the Lexington opening is an important milestone because it will serve as the prototype for all future brick-and-mortar stores. The award-winning retailer of preppy fashions plans to replicate the Lexington store’s Southern inspired, easy-going, yet efficient shopping experience in all future expansions, while highlighting the unique culture of each city.

Launched from a basement in 2012 by two former attorneys turned preppy fashion pros, Country Club Prep has experienced triple digit growth annually. Building on their online success as the “Zappos for prepsters,” co-founders Matt Watson and Stephen Glasgow are now turning their focus to the brick-and-mortar shopping experience.

“We are thrilled to continue our brick-and-mortar expansion in Lexington. The equestrian inspired, bourbon-drinking culture of the city meshes seamlessly with our style and overall shopping experience,” said Stephen Glasgow, co-founder. “Located on Euclid Avenue in historical Chevy Chase, we are in a coveted location minutes away from the University of Kentucky.”

While Country Club Prep has found great success online, the founders realized there was opportunity to shake up the traditional brick-and-mortar space. Opening two stores in four months, the preppy retailers plan to continue expanding into college and resort towns.

“By the end of 2015, we hope to open several stores open across the country,” said Matt Watson, co-founder. “Having the Lexington store as our prototype will make future expansions streamlined, although we always plan to feature the individual communities’ best preppy qualities.”

Learn more by visiting Country Club Prep at 807 Euclid Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky, on November 14, 2014 for the Grand Opening, or online at http://www.countryclubprep.com.

An 11-year-old Virginia student was suspended after bringing a "stun weapon" to school.

However, the “weapon” in question is a pack of gum.

The Hungary Creek Middle School student bought the gum at a novelty store according to NBC. The gum is a prank that gives a light shock to those who try to grab a piece.

"I wouldn't want to depend on that for protection," store manager David Hancock said to NBC. "There is no way you can call that a weapon. I think people have gone absolutely insane in the administration of these kind of policies."

Hancock went on to say “It tingles maybe but is certainly not doing any damage like say a 5 million volt stun-gun would do."

The school said they are looking out for the safety of all students and staff members.

“The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Unfortunately, student privacy laws prevent us from making further comment. Please consider that to examine the situation only from the perspective of a single person, without considering others that were involved, would create an incomplete and inaccurate version of events,” school officials said in a statement according to NBC.

The  Legal Aid Justice Center said it is not shocked by what happened.

"Locally in Henrico there have been individuals who are really looking at school discipline and trying to move from zero tolerance policies to policies that make common sense," Jeree Thomas with the Legal Aid Justice Center said to NBC. “Very clear language that suspensions should be used as a last resort. We want to use evidence-based interventions."

The gum package does say: "This is not a toy and should not be used on people who are pregnant or who have heart problems."

Two Mark Rothko Paintings Sell For A Heaping Sum Of $76 Million

NEW YORK (AP) — Two Mark Rothko paintings owned by Listerine fortune heir Rachel "Bunny" Mellon fetched more than $76 million at a Sotheby's auction of post-war and contemporary art on Monday.

"Untitled (Yellow, Orange, Yellow, Light Orange)," from 1955, sold for $36.5 million, just over its pre-sale estimate high of $30 million. "Untitled," created 15 years later, brought in just under $40 million, almost double its top pre-sale estimate, Sotheby's said. Other items from the Mellon collection, including jewelry and furnishings, will be offered in a series of sales Nov. 20-23. The total could realize more than $100 million.

Proceeds will benefit The Gerard B. Lambert Foundation, which supports The Oak Spring Garden Library in Upperville, Virginia. The library houses Mellon's collection of rare books, manuscripts and works of art related to landscape design, horticulture and natural history.

Mellon, a noted horticulturist and widow of philanthropist Paul Mellon, died in March at age 103 at her Virginia estate.

Mellon's grandfather Jordan W. Lambert created Listerine, and her father, Gerald Lambert, built a company that made everything from Dentyne to Schick razors. Paul Mellon had his own fortune, inherited from his Pittsburgh industrialist father and built on holdings in banking, coal, railroads, steel and aluminum.

Bunny Mellon was a self-taught botanist and close friend of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. In 1961 she redesigned the White House Rose Garden, and later she created another White House garden that was named for Kennedy after her death.

The Mellons donated hundreds of important artworks to museums, including the National Gallery of Art, founded in 1937 by Paul Mellon's father, Andrew Mellon.

On Tuesday, a third Rothko painting will go under the gavel at Sotheby's. "No. 21 (Red, Brown, Black and Orange)," bought by art benefactors Pierre and Sao Schlumberger from Rothko's estate, could bring more than $50 million.

The painting was first exhibited in the seminal exhibition "15 Americans" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1952, a year after it was created. It has not been exhibited since a traveling retrospective of Rothko's work in 1971-72.

The current Rothko auction record is $86.8 million for "Orange, Red, Yellow."

Among other highlights at the Tuesday sale is Andy Warhol's 1974 "A group of Four Portraits of Sao Schlumberger."

Sotheby's and Christie's also are cashing in on the Jeff Koons mania sweeping the globe.

Sotheby's Tuesday sale features his "Moon (Yellow)," one of five moon sculptures he created in different colors and the first of them to appear at auction. A pink version was displayed at a recent Koons retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

On Wednesday, Christie's is offering Koons' massive stainless steel "Balloon Monkey (Orange)."

Koons became the most expensive living artist last year, when his "Balloon Dog (Orange)" was auctioned for $58.4 million.

The week of high-end sales concludes with another blockbuster offering from Christie's on Wednesday: two Andy Warhol portraits never before seen at auction, one of Elvis Presley and the other of Marlon Brando. "Triple Elvis (Ferus Type)" and "Four Marlons" were acquired by German casino company WestSpiel in the 1970s. Reported by Huffington Post 5 hours ago.

Read up on all of the new pilots below:

*“Cocked”*

Created by Sam Baum (Lie to Me) and Sam Shaw (Manhattan – TV series), Cocked stars Sam Trammell (True Blood) as Richard Paxson, a family man and corporate lap dog who left his family in rural Virginia twenty years before and vowed never to go back. After some unfortunate circumstances, he is forced to leave the big city and return home to help his family's gun business–one of the oldest in the country. But no good deed goes unpunished. Older brother Grady Paxson, played by Jason Lee (My Name is Earl), who's a bachelor, playboy and gun aficionado, isn't so happy to have him back, and Richard's liberal wife and two opinionated teenage children are horrified by the world they have been thrown into. Hilarity, epic fights and emotional breakdowns ensue. Cocked also stars Brian Dennehy (The Good Wife) as Wade Paxson, Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad) as Hannah Paxson, and Dreama Walker (The Good Wife) as Tabby Paxson. The hour-long dark comedy pilot is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Skull Island), and Erwin Stoff (Unbroken), Shaw, and Baum are Executive Producers.

*“Down Dog”*

Blessed with good looks, a winning smile, hippie parents and a Southern California upbringing, life has been relatively easy thus far for Logan Wood (played by Josh Casaubon, I Just Want My Pants Back). In his late 30's, having coasted through romances with countless women and various random jobs, he now teaches yoga to the trophy wives, hot moms and aspiring celebrities of Santa Monica and Venice Beach. And he's damn good at it. But when Logan and his current girlfriend, a successful and attractive older woman named Amanda (played by Paget Brewster, Criminal Minds) who happens to be the owner of the yoga studio, break up, life starts to get more complicated. Down Dog also stars Lyndsy Fonseca (How I Met Your Mother), Will Greenberg (Halt and Catch Fire), Andrea Savage (The Life and Times of Tim), Amir Talai (American Dad), Kris Kristofferson (Lone Star), and Alysia Reiner (Orange is the New Black). The pilot is written by Robin Schiff (Are You There, Chelsea?), produced by Bob Cooper (RFK) and Michael Fuchs (Death in the Modern Age), and directed by Bradley Silberling (Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events).

*“Mad Dogs”*

Mad Dogs is an hour-long dark comedy created by Cris Cole (The Bill), and Executive Produced by Cole, Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and Marney Hochman (Last Resort), Andy Harries (DCI Banks), Suzanne Mackie (All in Good Time), and Charles McDougall (The Mindy Project). Based on the hit UK series, Mad Dogs follows the twisted reunion of a group of underachieving forty-something friends–a mixture of single, married and recently divorced–who are all at different crossroads in their lives. Celebrating the early retirement of an old friend at his gorgeous Belize villa, grudges begin to emerge and secrets explode as their trip becomes a labyrinthine nightmare of lies, deception and murder. Mad Dogs is a twisted tale of friendship put to the ultimate test. As an inconceivable chain of events unfolds, cracks within the group widen before the friends realize that the only people they can trust are each other, the last people they want to be relying on. The pilot stars Steve Zahn (Dallas Buyers Club) as Cobi, Billy Zane (Twin Peaks) as Milo, Romany Malco (Weeds) as Gus, Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Lex, and Ben Chaplin (World without End) as Joel. Mad Dogs is directed by McDougall and is being co-produced with Sony Pictures Television.

*“The Man in the High Castle” *

Based on Philip K. Dick's Hugo Award-winning 1962 alternative history, The Man in the High Castle considers the question of what would have happened if the Allied Powers had lost World War II. Some 20 years after that loss, the United States and much of the world has now been split between Japan and Germany, the major hegemonic states. But the tension between these two powers is mounting, and this stress is playing out in the western U.S. Through a collection of characters in various states of posing (spies, sellers of falsified goods, others with secret identities), The Man in the High Castle provides an intriguing tale about life and history as it relates to authentic and manufactured reality. The hour-long dramatic pilot stars Alexa Davalos (Mob City) as Juliana Crain, Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars) as Joe Blake, Rupert Evans (The Village) as Frank Frink, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat Legacy) as Tagomi, Joel De La Fuente (Hemlock Grove) as Inspector Kido, Rufus Sewell (Eleventh Hour) as John Smith and DJ Qualls (Z Nation) as Ed McCarthy. The pilot is directed by David Semel (Madam Secretary, Heroes) and written by Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), both serving as Executive Producers. Also executive producing are Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker, with co-executive producer Jordan Sheehan of Scott Free Productions (The Good Wife, The Andromeda Strain), and Executive Producers Stewart Mackinnon and Christian Baute of Headline Pictures (The Invisible Woman). In addition, Isa Dick Hackett will executive produce and Kalen Egan will co-executive produce on behalf of Electric Shepherd (The Adjustment Bureau). Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has said he wants recipients of food stamps and unemployment benefits to undergo drug tests, a move that could face possible legal trouble.

The state is already one of five that require public assistance applicants who are convicted of drug felony charges to be tested for drugs, along with Maine, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Virginia, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. Should Walker propose a broader measure that involves testing benefits applicants either randomly or without suspicion that they have used drugs, it could be found unconstitutional because of  a 2003 Michigan Court of Appeals case, the NCSL said. Europe Marks Armistice Day With Solemn Ceremonies (PHOTOS)

Europe marked Armistice Day on Tuesday, the holiday that commemorates the armistice that ended World War I on Nov. 11, 1918.

Ceremonies to honor those fallen in conflicts took place across the continent.

In France, President Francois Hollande laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier in the capital, Paris. The president would later travel to the north of the country for the opening of a new international war memorial.

Britain marked the day with remembrance services at Westminster Abbey, the Cenotaph, Trafalgar Square and around the country. The country observed two minutes of silence at 11 a.m. In London, a young boy planted the final symbolic ceramic poppy in an art installation that marks the 100th anniversary of the Great War at the Tower of London.

A ceremony at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Brussels, Belgium, was attended by King Philip. Thousands gathered at the Menin Gate in the town of Ypres, which was ravaged by the 1914 - 1918 war, to listen to buglers play the Last Post. That ceremony has been observed every night since the late 1920s and was only interrupted during the Second World War.A bagpiper stands amidst paper poppies during an Armistice Day ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014.(AP Photo/Virginia Mayo)Red paper poppies fall from the ceiling during an Armistice Day ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014. For Democrats in 2016: The Backbench May Be the Answer

$
0
0
You've heard the arguments: If Democrats want to turn their 2014 losses into 2016 wins, they need to get their base voting next time, they need to stay on message, they need to support their president, etc. The list is endless. After all, as the pundits say, it was the Democrats' loss, not a Republican win. Maybe that is so, but not for the reasons most commonly listed. As any successful sports team knows, it's not only about the A team, but also the B team -- especially when it comes to women in elected office.

It's about the backbench.

In other words, it's the women at the state level, the ones running for state legislature, judgeships and even smaller statewide offices that are the most important part of any future for a political party and its ideals. They are the ones who will be there when the A team retires.

They are the next Hillary Clintons and Kirsten Gillibrands.

Unfortunately for Democrats, the GOP has been grooming female candidates from the earliest stages of their political careers, and they are now beginning to emerge onto the statewide and national scene. Republican women now occupy the posts of Lieutenant Governor of Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Wisconsin and Massachusetts, as well as four Secretary of States around the country. For example, take Connie Lawson, the Secretary of State of Indiana who graduated from a program called the Richard Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, a "political leadership development program... to increase the number of Republican women in local, state, and national elective and appointive offices." The program just celebrated its 25th anniversary, which tells you how long the Republicans have been building their farm team. These women are dangerously poised to seek governorship, federal office, and perhaps the presidency in the next few election cycles.

*Make 2016 more than just the year of Hillary*

If you think this election was bad, wait for the future. The women above are the Republican backbench. Most of these women have one thing in common -- they started their careers at the local or state level. We know that women are different from men in terms of political trajectories; they need to be recruited and trained to run for office, and they often need to work their way up the pipeline from local to federal offices (on the Democratic side, think Boxer, Feinstein, Murray, Landrieu, Stabenow, McCaskill, Shaheen; the list goes on and on.)

This really isn't rocket science. As Democrats, we have to fill our backbench and focus on training high quality candidates at the state and local levels. We should never again pour millions of dollars into federal races with weak candidates. It just doesn't work. Instead, let's fill the pipeline with smart, ambitious, and diverse candidates, so that the woman who runs for city council in 2015 will run for Congress in 2020.

If Hillary chooses to run for president, she needs to ask other women to put their name on the ballot with her in 2016. Imagine how many women she could recruit. How could they turn her down? Everywhere Hillary goes, she needs to ask a woman to run with her -- to put her name on the ballot. There are 520,000 elected offices in the United States. Imagine a 2016 election with Democratic women up and down the ballot and Hillary at the top. What could be more inspiring and motivating for Democratic women voters -- the most decisive voting bloc in the 2012 election?

*The B team -- the ones who make the real legislative decisions*

Why is this important? Why should we care? Because the most egregious legislation is being passed in our state houses, and Republicans are slowly taking over state legislatures across the nation. Before Tuesday, Republicans controlled 59 of 99 legislative chambers; now they control 69. State legislatures were responsible for 200 new abortion restrictions passed between 2011 and 2013. Not to mention the new restrictive voter ID laws, legislative attempts to block EPA regulations, and extreme budget cuts to public education.

As my 6-year-old son sang "Let it Be" by the Beatles at the top of his lungs this morning, all I could think was: No, I am not going to let it be. My son's future depends on this fight we have on our hands for Democratic control in the next election.

Wake up progressives. Take this election like a strong pot of coffee (not cup -- pot) and let's learn from our mistakes. Let's learn from the Republicans. Our future depends on Democrats being a lot smarter and more strategic in 2015, 2016 and beyond.

Emerge America is changing the face of American politics by identifying, training and encouraging women to run for office, get elected and to seek higher office. Our intensive, cohort-based seven-month training program is unique. As the number of elected Democratic women remains flat or even declines, the need for our work is growing across the country. We currently work in 14 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Emerge America's role is to serve the states where we work, open new state programs and build capacity to train more women in each of our current states. We are working to open new states to offer our programming to more women in more locations. Reported by Huffington Post 3 hours ago.

EpiEP, Inc. Receives FDA 510(k) Clearance for EpiAccess™ System

Pressure-guided epicardial access system enables electrophysiologists to perform challenging procedures on the surface of the heart

New Haven, Conn. (PRWEB) November 11, 2014

EpiEP, Inc. today announced that its EpiAccess™ system, a pressure-guided epicardial access system designed to help physicians perform procedures on the surface of the heart, has received 510(k) clearance from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a step that will allow EpiEP to commercially distribute the device.

EpiEP is a research and development medical device company with a portfolio of innovative epicardial technologies initially targeting minimally-invasive epicardial access for electrophysiology procedures such as ventricular tachycardia (VT), atrial fibrillation (AF), and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAA), which in some instances require access to the surface of the heart.

“This clearance marks a significant advance for EpiEP and our lead product,” said Pamela Bunes, CEO of EpiEP. “The EpiAccess™ system is positioned to immediately impact the growing field of epicardial electrophysiology procedures. We look forward to launching the EpiAccess™ system to full commercialization in the U.S. and providing physicians with a unique device that allows them to access the pericardial space, which surrounds the heart.”

The EpiAccess™ system is the flagship product, which provides electrophysiologists a pressure-guided access needle. Pressure guidance allows the physician to know where the needle tip is located when it is advanced under fluoroscopic guidance to the virtual space between the pericardial sac and the surface of the heart without injuring the heart. It was CE Mark (Conformité Européenne) approved for sale in Europe in March 2014, and has been used in a post-market study in Prague, Czech Republic, Milan, Italy, Bordeaux, France, and Coimbra, Portugal.

“Despite the growing importance of epicardial access during ablation procedures, it is recognized that the fear of potential complications has limited the use of an epicardial approach,” said Andrea Natale, M.D., and Executive Medical Director of the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. “The EpiAccess™ system is the first product designed and approved for use in Europe and FDA 510(k) cleared in the United States that will offer physicians more confidence to use this approach whenever it could be beneficial to the patient.”

About EpiEP, Inc.
EpiEP, Inc. has licensed, a portfolio of patent protected epicardial medical devices from the University of Virginia. These products will impact the growing field of electrophysiology by providing physicians with novel tools to access and treat various cardiac conditions. The EpiAccess™ system is the flagship product, which provides electrophysiologists with a pressure guided access needle so the physician knows where the tip of the needle is located when it is being advanced to the virtual space between the pericardial sac and the surface of the heart without injuring the heart. The EpiAccess™ system is designed to result in better patient outcomes by reducing unintended puncture in the heart muscle. The system provides real time feedback for physicians so they can know when the needle has reached the desired location.

Editor’s Note: The EpiAccess™ system is not available for sale or use in all countries. For additional information, please visit http://www.epiep.com.
